"My First Time EP" Released!

Listening to: Alexander Shen - My Robot Wife

I've released my first EP today, "My First Time"! This EP was supposed to come out last year, but I ran into a few delays due to a lack of a working mixer and whatnot. It's the first step into the world of non-cheesy music, so I hope it keeps ear bleeding to a minimum.

Track Listing
1. My First Time
2. Legacy [feat. Direct]
3. Greatest Band in the World
4. My Robot Wife
5. Zombie Love Song
6. Learn Chinese
7. My First Time (Album Version)
8. Legacy (Live at PaRiSoMa)

Art Dump: Gashapon Shop Game

Listening to: Nothing.

Here's some artwork/preliminary sketches for the Gashapon Shop game that I'm working on. It's essentially a game of collecting cards for the sake (and joy) of collecting cards. You level up by spending more in-game money, allowing you access to more benefits and card packs. It's recommended that you just leave it on, like other silly social games, so you can accrue bonus money every few minutes.

At this point I'm basically trying to collect/make more cards for the game. The content creation is really the part that's going to take forever and a day. FOREVER AND A DAY.

I'll have a demo up soon. Message me if you want to look at an early version to see what this is about.

Daily Comic: Beanie

It's particularly warm today, which is unfortunate.

My memories of monsters are skewed.

Currently: Sick.

I don't ever remember the giant rubber monsters in Power Rangers to be nearly as coordinated as these guys.

I also don't understand why they never made the monster really big from the beginning, crushing the Power Rangers. They also had a habit of waiting until the Power Rangers got all of their Zords out before attacking. If I were the giant monster, I'd step on the Power Rangers and smash any individual Zord that wasn't connected yet.

Then again, I'm just trying to be as efficient as possible. I'd make a terrible bad guy, no doubt. There are apparently rules to follow, people!

I went to Vegas this weekend.

Listening to: David Choi - Something to Believe

According to the implicit contract you sign when you land in Vegas (thanks for the reminder, Emad!), all things transpired within are kept there.

In accordance to my long streak of law breaking, I will now briefly talk about the things I did, or rather things I remembered doing:

1. I won $145.00 playing Let It Ride BONUS.
2. I shot an Uzi, a Thompson, a M3, a MP5 and a desert eagle.
3. I rode a roller coaster.
4. I ate chicken fried steak and burned the roof of my mouth.
5. I played arcade games.
6. I lost $2.00 in a slot machine.
7. I lost $10.00 at roulette.
8. I danced too much and my legs hurt.

All in all, a pretty good trip. Just don't tell anyone I told you.

Peanut Gallery - Mini Daddy

Listening to: ...rap... I think?

Now for my peanut gallery comments I made throughout the video. Please read accordingly to the time as it'd be a shame to read too far ahead and run into SPOILERS.

0:06 - Is this like a Chipmunk version of an existing song?
0:18 - What is he saying?
0:29 - He's more face than anything else.
0:39 - I think I have the same Casio keyboard they used to make this song.
0:45 - He looks Chinese.
1:03 - I wonder if those are his sisters.
1:16 - Hm.
1:34 - What is he saying?
1:42 - The humping motions would not backup my assumption of those being his sisters.
2:12 - Someone's having too much fun with the zoom in/out function.
2:24 - I could never get away with having those girls in a video. I'd be labeled as a "biter" and that is clearly my main concern.
2:35 - Someone's having too much fun with that air horn button... explosion.

They're similar, but yet so different.

Listening to: Nothing.

This is a snippet of a conversation I had with a male friend of mine.

Friend: Ah, James Deen. He's one of my favorite male porn actors.
Me: I'm a bigger fan of Jimmy Dean.

Dryness vs. How Stupid You Look

Listening to: The rain.

So it's been raining quite hard today. Josie purchased me a poncho for just this sort of occasion. I broke it out this morning before I left the house and made my merry 'ol way to work. While walking to work, I thought about how silly I looked. With the wind picking up now and then, my poncho was filled to make me look like a vinyl blueberry.

The original graph actually had a very tall spike at the front end, but decided to remove it for the sake of smoothness. The spike represented "garbage bag with holes cut in it". I suppose that the relative dryness would really depend on the the hole cutting abilities as well. With my limited understanding of graphs and how to plot them, this has now gotten too complicated for me and I must rest for hours.

I will admit, however, that I am extremely dry.

Comic: Microwave (warning, it's kind of long)

Listening to: Nothing.

This is based on something that happened today during lunch while Emad and I tried to go find a microwave on another floor that worked (ours at the office was broken). What happened at the end? We went to Chipotle.

Oh, and apparently cops showed up.

Comic: It's a real problem.

Listening to: Nothing.

I had this situation arise today. Luckily no one was in the bathroom at the time, so I was free to do as I wished, but it still cropped up in my mind.

I wish I had the courage to not care what others thought about my public flatulence.

Burger... NOW!

Listening to: Nothing.

I wish this place existed. I'm not sure how the place would taste, but the giant burger sign is just to die for.

Two coffees and checking the time.

Listening to: David Choi - That Girl

I was walking to work and saw a woman holding two coffees walking towards me. She then took a sip out of one and checked the time on the wristwatch on her other wrist. Coffee then spilled onto her scarf since the other coffee was full.

I glanced and continued walking past her. It would have been rude to laugh. Rather, it would have been rude to laugh out loud. Internally, it was a completely different story.

"Sheep - A Card Game" Released!

Listening to: William Fitzsimmons - Heartless

I'm ringing in the new year with my newest game Sheep - A Card Game! Well, actually, it's not "new" per se. It's more so a port of the PC download version that I made last May. I figured that I was getting better at Flash and should be able to port the simple game relatively quickly. Three train rides and one lunch later, it's here!

I also figured that a quick project like this would get me back up to speed from a holiday of non-development.

Monsieur Poogie

Listening to: Jack Black - Let's Get It On

The first drawing of the new year is of a Poogie. It's one of the creatures from the Monster Hunter Series. I've personally never played it, but have heard it's quite an engaging experience. I am a fan, however, of the Poogie and Felyne creatures in the game and think those alone warrant the attention of the standard citizen.

At the very least they deserve ugly fan art, as seen above.
