Doing a lot of good writing with the rules. For example: decided that multiple copies of the same monster should be tied to the one spot on the Initiative Track versus having their own individual cards on the track. The reason is that if you're playing a Story with only a handful of different monster types, that Initiative Track would be flooded very quickly with cards.
I think doing it this way also helps self-balance the game where the more enemies there are of the same type, the more likely that they will activate one after another at the same time.
