I never realized how hard Sega had tried to push Alex Kidd as a mascot of sorts.

I've always been tickled by the idea that defeating enemies in old games made them simply blink and disappear. What would really happen would be cracking of foreign bones and body fluid spraying everywhere.

I've also decided to remove that silly parchment paper background. So silly!

It was a paddle controller, much like the Arkanoid Controller. I don't know if the controller had any more games that used it, but it does certainly seem neat.
