At my son’s preschool they do an annual Science day that invites students, neighbors, and whatnot to participate. It’s nice to see Jasper really take a shining to his teacher next year.

One of the elements of the recipe cards in Sadie Cat: Cook Out is the illustration. I realized that I wanted to approach it from an ink and paper style since the rest of it is very much hand drawn on parchment style.
Some of the items like "vegetable soup" and "fish stew" pretty much are ending up the same. What, from the outside, is the difference between a "fruit pie" and a "meat pie"? Or maybe "nut butter" and "fish paste". Without color or context, they look like the same thing. What about a mound of "nut flour"?
Maybe having decent drawings is good enough?

My 1" button maker was returned this last weekend I made a few buttons. It's nice to have it back! It's a really neat machine and the output product is just so fun.
I used the piece of paper that comes with the toy that showcases all the other cars you "just have to have". Turned out nice.
