Playing around with TInkerCad for my little stalls. It’s got just enough features for a 3D tool that I can use.
Todd only serves one kind of burger: yummy.
Inside the stall you’ll find:
One propane tank
An ice chest of “burgers”
Chilled condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard)
Other burger fixings (pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes)
Cheese (cheddar, Swiss, jack, provolone)
Not sure if I’ll ever come back to this list, but it’s something I need to write down lest I forget all the things. Standing here waiting for the bus to arrive gives me a moment of pause, albeit somewhat distracting with the cold.
For those who don’t know, “creative anxiety” is a thing. It causes you to be paralyzed and unable to start a project. It can also cause stalls, moments of self-doubt, and sometimes destructive tendencies where projects are completely thrown out the window. You also feel uncomfortable when you don’t get to the things you want to creatively, and causes anxiousness.
Anyway, the list of things I need to get through:
Islands of Atlantis roll-and-write game. The v5 ruleset is actually pretty good. I think I’ll be sticking to this one for a bit and get a few more playtests in.
Podcast land is still awaiting an actual recording. I have a few short pieces I’ve written that I could record, but it’s been difficult to find a space for me, the mic, and the laptop.
Sadie Cat and Mao is still in limbo. I’ve been thinking of how to write and draw interesting situations for them, but I just don’t know what I want or the story I want to tell. I was playing with the idea of giving them each a stall or truck they run in a small open-air market called Tilly Square. One owns a ramen stand. One owns a toy stand. I think the image I had in my head that was most striking was the idea that the sun’s not even up yet and some of the folks are already there getting ready for the day. Broth cooking in the quiet of the early morning, steam rising from the pot. Bundled up in hats and scarves, friendly stall neighbors greeting each other for another good day.
Monthly game postcard or craft postcard to start on Patreon. I don’t have it in me to craft a roll and write every month. But maybe I have it in me to craft a postcard that is a collection of puzzles and riddles that I can send to those interested? People still like getting mail, right? I was also thinking the stalls in the above could be papercrafts as well.
Anyway. That’s on my mind.
I really liked the lighting in this one.
Gurren Lagann was one of my favorite anime series and really got me in the feels. Enough so that I purchased the soundtrack back in the day. I saw that a new Yoko Littner statue was coming out and instead of dropping the $100+ on it, drawing it would be okay too.
I really do love the fact that all of the Inklings in the Splatoon universe have different clothes. Such a fun idea and I’m glad it took off!
A self-portrait is always someone who draws needs to do, right?
