Still trying to figure out the right “formula” for the Sadie Cat and Mao comic strips. The tone isn’t right and I’m not quite sure of the audience I’m trying to reach. I can certainly start identifying audiences I’m not trying to reach, but that’s a fruitless exercise.
You can read it over on Instagram.
I don’t know if they will ever be able recreate the feeling and experience you get from a Sharpie on a piece of paper. I suppose if you had special textured screen protectors with special textured styluses? Too niche probably. A delicious niche!
Painted, assembled, and displayed. Turned out pretty good! I think I overused the 3D printer though. I tried to start a second one and it sort of started melting the plastic all weird, leaving holes and pockets everywhere.
Painted the 3D model I printed. I haven't picked up a paintbrush in a very, very long time.
It took a lot of attempts, but I was able to print out the parts from this Hollow Knight STL bundle I found on Thingiverse. For whatever reason, the head got printed weird. Had to rotate it to get it to work correctly. Really neat stuff.
Worth noting only because of all the updates I've been doing and I got a nice automated e-mail when I hit 100 backers! Fun times.
