I was looking at some of the flowers in our dining room today and thought about how this stuff works. The flowers are clearly taking in water through their stems and blooming, but I can't help but feel that they're only doing it because the genetic code within these plants are telling them what to do in the presence of water. After a certain, limited, period of time these flowers will just die regardless of how much water you supply them.
That's why I stick to candy. You can't forget to water candy.
