Digging L.A. Noire

Whenever I play games that have a hint of "sandbox" to them, I find myself trying to outsmart the system or at least have it react in a way that wasn't intended. Call it the child in me, but I derive much pleasure from this. For example, sitting in one of the booths at the diner and hiding behind a newspaper. If you rotate the camera around, the distance of the camera will catch the next booth's patrons face in 16:9 widescreen glory (as seen above).

As far as the actual game goes, I'm digging it. It feels like Phoenix Wright and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego (Deluxe Edition).

Oh, also, I got married this weekend.
