One of the issues, as described last time, was trying to find uniform pieces to make the arcade cabinets. Another one of the issues was having tools that could reliably cut these dissimilar pieces in a way that they would fit together. I didn't have an answer to either of those things, so I decided to see what I could do with larger base pieces that didn't require cutting at all.

This "cocktail" style cabinet was what I came up with. It's essentially a handful of 2" squares glued together. It actually turned out pretty good. The unfortunate part was that it was still a little too small to really be considered 1:12 scale. I mean I could say "it's a mini cabinet", but that felt kind of cheap.

Ultimately I did make a handful of things for different games like Street Fighter II, League of Legends, and Megaman. I guess a part of me saw them as too custom to really fall in love.
