Tested out a new memory game with my eldest. The story is there is a robot gopher tearing up the yard and you have to capture it three times (like hitting a boss three times). Unfortunately, your "Gopher Catcher 2000" lost the stickers on the buttons, so you don't know which button does what.
The game is straight forward:
- Shuffle and place the 9 cards in a 3x3 grid face down
- Roll 2d6
- The robot gopher appears on that spot on the paper grid
- Player chooses a card from the 3x3 grid. If it matches, you score a point. Turn the card face down and do it again. If it doesn't match, you don't score a point. Turn the card face down and it's the next player's turn.
- First player to hit 3 points wins.
